Join us at St Adalbert's Fraternal Aid Society (Fifth St. Hall) for a fantastic St. Patrick's Day party, dancing, and a celebration of all things Celtic! Enjoy traditional Irish music performed by the west Michigan Irish band, Selkie, and learn how to do Scottish Country Dancing, taught to us by a true Scotsman, David Kerr, joining us from Lansing where he regularly leads folks in Cèilidhs. We'll even have bagpipes! We've got Guinness and Harp galore at the cash bar, and there'll be plenty of Jameson on hand for what's surely going to be an enjoyable evening, filled with great music, dancing and fun with friends and family, all for a good cause. So get ready to dance, laugh, and support the Harmel Academy of the Trades in a night filled with traditional Irish music, lively cèilidh dancing, with plenty of snacks and desserts to keep us going. Ludington State Park Beach House

Join Friends of Ludington State Park on Saturday, October 7, from 1 to 5 p.m. as we celebrate fall at the Ludington State Park. There will be wagon rides featuring draft horses from Meadow Breeze Farms, a bonfire, music and apples, donuts and cider. The events will be held at the Lake Michigan Beach House.

50th Annual Eastown Streetfair

The Eastown Community Association is excited to host the 50th Annual Eastown Streetfair on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 9am to 9pm (Beer tent open until 10pm)

This outdoor festival will take place along Wealthy Street between Giddings Avenue and Lake Drive and includes the first block of Ethel Avenue and the Wealthy St. Hub Lot. This annual event is a family-friendly celebration of arts, crafts, food, music, and the Eastown neighborhood; one of Grand Rapids’ most eclectic districts!
